A HOTEL is to "temporarily close" for an "incredible transformation".
EV Bar, Restaurant and Beer Garden, which is part of the Redstones Hotel in Uddingston, revealed it is temporarily shutting its doors.
It will reopen as Turkiye EFES, a Turkish restaurant which already has a venue in the Merchant City.
Announcing the news, EV Bar, Restaurant and Beer Garden said: "Exciting news ahead!
"The Redstones Hotel is temporarily closing its doors to make way for an incredible transformation. In just a couple of weeks, we’ll be unveiling the number one Turkish restaurant in Glasgow - Turkiye EFES.
"If you’ve been to Turkiye EFES before, you know what to expect - an amazing culinary experience.
"The existing tenants will be moving out, and the landlord will be taking back over.
