999 crews taped off a Glasgow street after a man was 'stabbed'. 

Multiple police vehicles and ambulances were spotted on Maryhill Road in the north of the city on Wednesday afternoon.

Part of the street has been sealed off by tape and officers are seen standing guard.

The force revealed that they had been called to a report of a man being stabbed.

A 41-year-old man was rushed to hospital to be treated.

An investigation has been launched into the incident.

A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Officers were called to Maryhill Road, Glasgow, at around 3.10pm on Wednesday, February 28, 2024, following a report a man had been stabbed.

“Emergency services attended and a 41-year-old man was taken to hospital for treatment. Enquiries are ongoing."
