A controversial plan to build flats on a historic Glasgow site has been changed to student housing.
As the Glasgow Times reported last year, a proposal was submitted to erect 10 homes on a plot at 10 Kelbourne Street.
The site was once the annexe of North Kelvinside Parish Church, which was demolished in 2014.
The bid received a huge backlash from locals, including from North Kelvin Community Council, who voiced concerns about the height of the building and increased traffic.
Despite this, the plan was allowed on appeal. But the original plan have now been withdrawn and a new proposal was suggested.
Applicant Kelvin Properties Limited is bidding to build student accommodation on the land after demand "dramatically increased".
The land is next to a children's play park and has been unused since the church was knocked down.
If successful, there would be 134 studio rooms and facilities included in the building, ranging from five to seven storeys.
Documents say the site will "seamlessly blend functionality, aesthetics, and sustainability".

The proposal is being considered by Glasgow City Council's planning committee and a decision is expected by Wednesday, February 14.
