A ROAD in East Kilbride was closed for around two hours following a crash involving several vehicles.
Police were called to the A749 Glasgow Road at the Kingsgate Retail Park at around 7.50pm yesterday following a report of a crash.
One driver was checked over at the scene.
The road reopened at around 9.45pm.

A Police Scotland spokesperson said: "Around 7.50pm on Friday, December 29, we received a report of a crash on the A749, Glasgow Road, in East Kilbride, at the Kingsgate Retail Park involving a number of vehicles.
"Officers attended and one driver was checked over at the scene. The road has since re-opened."
