Rangers manager Mark Warburton has pledged to support veteran striker Kenny Miller after he was arrested for his alleged involvement in a wine bar bust-up following his side’s 5-1 defeat to Celtic.
Miller could potentially face an assault charge for his part in a disturbance at Da Luciano restaurant and bar in Bothwell on the night of the game.
Warburton is sure that off-filed issues will have no bearing on the forward though, and he will be in the squad to face Aberdeen tomorrow.
“It has no effect at all,” Warburton said. “It’s a subject that shouldn’t matter.
“What I will say is that we give the player 100% support, absolutely 100% support throughout the whole process.
“Kenny is fit, well, trained well and he will travel to Aberdeen with us.
“I don’t think it will affect his focus, Kenny is the ultimate professional so I’ve got no doubts about Kenny Miller on or off the pitch, none at all.”
